Dear freinds,
CECI joint with WUSC to implement the New Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP) 2004-2009 funded by CIDA. The main objective of the VCP is to contribute to poverty reduction targets – Millennium Development Goals. A new approach on volunteer sending will be applied such as:
Pan-Canadien Program of importance
New branding
Diversified forms of volunteerism
Multidirectional volunteerism
North-South, South-South network of organisations
Impact Canadian public opinion
Sectoral concentration
2 sectors per country
Minimum of 5 volunteers/sector
Minimum of 15 volunteers/ country
Reciprocity
Different forms of volunteering
Congé solidaire
Rebranding and public engagement.
