Natural Disaster Mitigation Partnership (NDM-P)

The Natural Disaster Mitigation Partnership (NDM-Partnership) is an association made up of voluntary members of Government, Donors and NGOs who have signed or expressed their commitment to work through the NDM-Partnership Memorandum of Agreement ratified in June 2001 by the Consultant Group (CG) of donors to the Government of Vietnam.

Forest Sector Support Program and Partnership (FSSP&P)

In 1999, the Government and 15 international partners signed a Memorandum of Agreement for 5MHRP. After 2 years of implementing 5MHRP partnership activities (2000-2001), the broader Forest Sector Support Program and Partnership (FSSP & P) was formulated. The FSSP&P Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed in Nov. 2001 between the Vietnam Government and 19 international partners (now 22 signatories). The FSSP will support the implementation of the forest sector development strategy to 2010, which includes the 5 MHRP.

Sector Partnership for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS-P)

The proposed purpose of the Partnership is to “create an enabling environment for nation-wide application of the National Strategy through coordinated national and international support to the establishment of a National RWSS Programme”. More specifically, this partnership would support the GoV to i) establish a Strategic Sector Plan, ii) create an institutional structure for collaborative response to identified sector priorities, iii) enable effective targeting of donor investment and TA support, iv) strengthen GoV-led sector coordination, management and quality assurance, and v) harmonize GoV and Donor procedures to reduce transaction costs.

Partnership for Avian and Human Pandemic Influenza (PAHI) - established in 2006

The aim of PAHI is to support the implementation of Vietnam Integrated Operational Program for Avian and Human Influenza for the period 2006-2010 (the Green Book)
